MD Series
Rotary Valve for Metering, Feeding and Airlock Applications
For long-term savings, ACS designed this valve to reduce total lifecycle maintenance requirements. The MD Series housings are cast in North America and CNC-machined to precise tolerances, eliminating axial shaft movement, seal leakage, and shortened bearing life.

Model MD 8, 0.20 C.F.R. Rotary Airlock Valve complete as follows:
- 304L stainless steel housing and endplates
- 8” dia. x #150 inlet and outlet flange connections
- Stainless steel sealed bearings (FDA)
- Food Grade ACST-4 shaft seal assembly
- Fabricated, machined 8-vane OPEN end 304L stainless steel rotor assembly
- Food Grade Radius pocket rotor assembly
- Food Grade Polished rotor assembly to 180 grit (#4 finish, 0.8 Ra)
- Inlet and outlet throats to have 180 grit (#4 finish)
- Inlet and outlet flanges to have 180 grit (#4 finish)
- External & Internal surface shall be passivated & electro polished
- Inlet & Outlet connection tri-clamp

- Fixed edge rotor tips – beveled, counter clockwise rotation from drive end

S-Pellet Series
Rotary Valve for Metering, Feeding and Airlock Applications
For handling of material such as pellets, beads, and granules that require protection from shearing; side inlet with adjustable material flow control ensures accurate rotor pocket filling without material shearing.
