If we know one thing for sure, it’s that we’ll read the phrase “in these uncertain times” approximately 3,000 more times before the coronavirus pandemic is over.

And we completely understand why: coronavirus (COVID-19) has taken North America by storm, and now we’re all on tenterhooks figuring out how to move forward with our jobs, our businesses and our lives as we wait for updates from health authorities.

That uncertainty is a very real source of anxiety for many. Here’s something you can be sure about: you can rely on the ACS Valves team as suppliers and as humans who are taking the pandemic seriously.

Will ACS Valves stay open?

Yes, ACS Valves is fortunate to be in a position where we can keep operating to support our customers. Our rotary valves are necessary to help manufacturers who make food, pet food, pharmaceuticals and other products essential to sustain the population in this time of crisis.

What measures are you taking to keep safe?

Everything we can. That means following government mandates and guidelines from the CDC and WHO, closely monitoring the situation as it progresses, and implementing social distancing measures such as staggered work hours and staggered lunches.

The health and safety of our teams and their families is of the utmost importance to us, and keeping them in good shape means we’re able to keep delivering the great service and quality you’ve come to expect from us.

Will my order be delayed because of the pandemic?

We source the vast majority of our raw materials in North America, so we don’t expect any major delays or shortages in our supply. Our production schedule is currently on track. You may see some minor delivery delays as a result of the protocols we’re using to keep our team healthy.

That said, we’re doing everything we can to be proactive about the situation, including holding daily meetings to meet demand and track availability of raw materials from our critical suppliers.

What if I have more questions?

Well, that’s the same as always — just ask us! As you know, the status of the pandemic changes frequently — we can’t guarantee zero disruptions, but we’re doing everything in our power to keep things stable for our customers. We’ll also keep you posted as new developments emerge.
