TYPE "S" PELLET FEEDER VALVE

The ACS-S Pellet Feeder has been especially designed to handle pelleted, bead or granular materials without shearing the product. By using a side inlet with an adjustable flow control, the angle of repose of the material does not permit it to fill the rotor pocket. As the pocket rotates towards contact with the housing, material flows down into the trough of the rotor and a seal is accomplished without shearing.

An access hand-hole is provided to permit adjustment of the flow control plate or rotor tips and clean-out of valve if needed. This feeder is suitable for discharge from storage bins, cyclones or receivers as well as in-feed to pneumatic conveyors.

Standard construction is mild steel housing and cast iron outboard end plates (also available in stainless steel construction).

ACS-S Feeders are available in sizes 6", 8", 10", 12" and 14".
