Technical Support Representative

Summary:

ACS Valves requires a conscientious, career minded Technical Support Representative that will be responsible for planning and performing work related to customer needs. The role will also support internal departments such as engineering, sales and productions. Other duties will be assigned as necessary.

  • Provide technical support to both internal and external customers.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge.
  • Revamp technical manuals such as valves, gypsum and spare parts.
  • Provide technical support to internal departments.
  • Contribute to new processes, procedures and projects.
  • Build database on FAQ and common issues with equipment.
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering on customer specs.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.

Customer Focus

  • Provide customer site service including project support and commissioning as needed.
  • Create and record all service requests in maintenance program file.
  • Follow up on major projects and build ongoing relationship.
  • Provide after sales continues support and assist in customer maintenance plan.

  • Strong Mechanical aptitude and prior experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Computer skills (working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and database systems). Knowledge of AutoCAD would be beneficial.

Assemble mechanical mixer parts using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications of wallboard equipment.

CNC Machinist

Summary:

Working with computer numeric controlled (CNC) heavy machinery from setup to operation to produce parts from metal and representing an integral part of our overall production process.

Essential Functions:

  • Study job orders, read and interpret engineering drawings to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations.
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces.
  • Set up and operate machine tools to perform repetitive machining operations, such as turning, milling, drilling, boring, planning, honing, broaching, grinding or other machining operations
